Mara Jade Skywalker by PatrickFinch Mara Jade Skywalker by PatrickFinch
Just another commission I did. She's a very cool character. I wonder if they will use her in the upcoming films.

lovely technique but must you sexualize women? Demeaning, and takes away from your masterful skill.

It's only demeaning if you perceive it as such, just a tip.

Actually, no it's not. It's demeaning because number one, it's out of proportion and totally unrealistic and makes it clear the only good thing about the subject is her body.

Whether or not it's demeaning is objective and subjective, so once again, you're wrong. Proportions have no bearing on what causes things to be demeaning. It's asinine to think sizes and realism, or the lack thereof, determine what's demeaning. It's how you interpret the image that causes it to be demeaning in your eyes. It is your perception. If you lack the esteem and self respect to simply acknowledge that this is just artwork like anything else, and feel the need to needlessly point out when something is what you'd consider "demeaning", then I feel genuinely sorry for you.

I don't lack esteem, thank you. I see sexism and I'm not about to keep quiet about it, so sad too bad.

Lol. The fact that you need to state it, it's pathetic. Everyone knows it's out there, don't force it down everyone's throat. He or she or anyone can draw what they want, however they want, and yet you have the nerve to say "must you sexualize the character", if you don't like it, don't comment. You're a radical and it's unnecessary. Yes, it's sad you won't be quiet. You're fighting a war that has long lost it's purpose, women are mostly equal in the world now, now "sexism" is being reduced to someone drawing large breasts on a girl. There are bigger gender issues someone like yourself should be focusing on, rather than going around on DA, demanding people to change their style because it's "demeaning".There's a fine line between a feminist and a hater. Sorry, we're gonna have to agree to disagree, because you're wasting my time.
